Frequently Asked Questions?
Q Will my Copper Bangle discolour or leave a coloured mark?
A This is common with this type of bangle but depends on the individuals’ acid or ph in the skin moisture. It also depends on exposure to water.. The natural oxides may leave a green or black residue on the wrist... Simply wash it away; it will not affect the ability of the magnets.
Q Should a bangle be a tight fit to the wrist?
A Rule of thumb the magnets should be about 10mm from the wrist, not too tight to prevent circulation.
Whatever feels comfortable to you, keeping the magnets on the inner wrist (close to the pulse points).
Q Should I wear my bangle 24 hours a day?
A We think you should experiment, see what best suits you – there is no reason why not.
Q How long should the magnets last?
A At least over a period of 10years in normal use, magnets will remain magnetised.
Q I have a titanium metal implant, will magnets affect this?
A There is no evidence that a magnetic bangle of any metal will not affect titanium implants.
Q Are there any safety implications to using magnets?
A It advisable that pregnant women or people wearing electrical medical devises such as a Pacemaker or Insulin pump SHOULD NOT use magnet therapy.
Small magnets should be kept away from children in case they swallow them.
Magnets should not be used near fresh cuts or wounds.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) published a study in 1987 stating that the magnetic strength used in magnetic therapy does not have any detrimental affects on the human body.
Q Can I use my PC, Laptop or Tablet when wearing a magnetic bangle?
A If the bangle is placed directly over a Laptop it may have an affect on the hard drive as it is quite close to the surface. The bangle are unlikely to affect unless placed within a few inches of the hard drive, it is therefore unlikely unless you are involved in IT maintenance. The same may apply for mobile phones.
